{"id":233,"date":"2017-07-07T16:48:24","date_gmt":"2017-07-07T14:48:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/arcantus.de\/en\/?p=233"},"modified":"2019-05-11T14:27:22","modified_gmt":"2019-05-11T12:27:22","slug":"cosentino-patricio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arcantus.de\/en\/cosentino-patricio\/","title":{"rendered":"Cosentino, Patricio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span lang=\"es-ES\">Patricio Consentino (born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1980) has become one of the most active musicians from South America, successfully establishing himself as an internationally recognised soloist, lecturer and director.\u00a0<\/span><!--more--><span lang=\"es-ES\">He studied at the <span lang=\"es-ES\">Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik \u201cFranz Liszt\u201d <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">in Weimar, Germany with <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">Walter Hilgers<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">, as a scholarship recipient of the prominent <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">Deutscher Akdemischer Austauschdienst<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\"> (German Academic Exchange Service).\u00a0After his appointments to the <\/span><span lang=\"es-AR\">Orquesta Estable del Teatro Argentino de La Plata, Orquesta Sinfonica de Salta and the Dormunder Philharmoniker<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">, he won the position in the <\/span><span lang=\"es-AR\">Orquesta Sinfonica Nacional Argentina<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\"> in 2009 and became the first ever Professor of tuba in his homeland.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"es-ES\">In the last decade his activities as a pedagogue, soloist, chamber musician and director have taken him to Latin America, Central and North America as well as throughout Europe.\u00a0 He is a member of the <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">Enrique Crespo Brass Ensembles<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">, the Brass Quintet <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">Pampa Brass <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">and the <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">Dispar Trio<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">.\u00a0 Patricio has also worked closely with numerous South American composers for years to constantly expand the repertoire for\u00a0 both euphonium and tuba.\u00a0 This pioneering work is currently responsible for more than 250 new compositions and arrangements for Brass Ensemble by composers from Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Per\u00fa, Brasil and Colombia.\u00a0 In 2015, as the unofficial musical Ambassador of South America, he\u00a0recorded his first Solo-CD \u201c<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">Sudam\u00e9rica-Vibra\u201d <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">with new music for euphonium and tuba.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a name=\"_GoBack\"><\/a><span lang=\"es-ES\">Since 2012, he has dedicated himself to training young musicians with a position in the <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">Brass Band Academy Alicante<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\"> (Spain).\u00a0 During a masterclass in Germany in 2014, he was invited to continue the development of the Brass Band BlechKLANG as a conductor through his international experiences.\u00a0 He has taken on this new challenge on with his characteristic energy and enthusiasm and the group has enjoyed great success.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"es-ES\">Patricio Consentino is a Buffet Crampon \u201cArtist\u201d and performs on the following instruments:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"es-ES\">F-Tuba B&amp;S Selected Edition<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"es-ES\">Bb-Tuba Melton\/Meinl Weston 197 and Ebb Besson Sovereign 681<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/arcantus.de\/en\/arc-17007\/\">arc 17007 &#8211;
